The coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic remains a global security threat, as the result of emerging and exacerbated challenges that have impacted on national policies various regional economic communities (RECs). This study analyses SADC ECOWAS’ responses to Covid-19 under their respective existing peace structures explores if both RECs, ECOWAS been efficient. article discusses Southern African West setting, how its architecture emerged whether it has successful in overcoming ramification region pandemic.
